stands for pet (polyethylene terephthalate): at present, the general mineral water, carbonated drinks and functional beverage bottles all use this material. Heat resistant to 70 ℃ easy deformation, 10 months of use may release carcinogens. In hot weather, do not put mineral water in the open air or in the car, and do not directly flush the boiling water into the mineral water bottle.

stands for HDPE (high density polyethylene): it is mainly used to make containers and bottles for cleaning products and bathing products. It is resistant to high temperature, but not easy to clean and easy to breed bacteria. It is recommended not to recycle.

stands for PVC (polyvinyl chloride): the toxic and harmful substances easily produced by this kind of plastic products come from two aspects: one is the monomolecular vinyl chloride which is not fully polymerized in the production process, and the other is the harmful substances in the plasticizer. These two substances are easy to release in the face of high temperature and grease, toxic substances with food into the human body, easy to cause cancer.

stands for LDPE (low density polyethylene): at present, this kind of material is often used in the fresh-keeping film and plastic film on the market, and the heat resistance is not strong. When the temperature of qualified PE film is higher than 110 ℃, the phenomenon of hot melting will appear in the qualified PE film. When the food is wrapped with the preservative film and heated, the oil in the food can easily dissolve the harmful substances in the film. Before the food is heated in the microwave oven, the wrapping film should be removed.

stands for PP (polypropylene): microwave oven lunch box made of this material, resistant to 130 ℃ high temperature, poor transparency. This is the only plastic box that can be put into the microwave oven and can be reused after careful cleaning. Some lunch boxes are made of PP 5, but the cover is made of PS 6. PS is transparent but not resistant to high temperature, so it can't be put into the microwave oven with the box.
